I recently came across a device called a SupaBoy I a electronics/comic store. It is a portable, back-lit, battery powered SNES, as well as a portable Famicom. I plan on getting one soon. However, what if there was a portable N64 or NES, or even a portable Dreamcast, all available on the market in stores and online? Would you buy any? What other systems would you like to see mobile?

honneydewp243 : How well is the SupaBoy selling so far and is it good because I might want to get one.

I would love to buy a N64 Portable because I can play all of my favourite N64 Games like Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 on the go.

The easiest modern system to handheld-ize would be the Gamecube, as it's small discs would be perfect for a handheld. Anything else, like the Nintendo 64 or Dreamcast would be too big.

dazzsheil : Actually, N64 cartridges are about the same size, maybe a little smaller, than SNES, but that went portable.

I read an IGN review of it saying that it wrecked his Super Mario World game..but other than that it seriously looks amazing and I would consider investing if it came with Super Metroid and was priced slightly lower. Now that, my friends..would be heaven. And maybe troubleshoot the console too so it doesn't destroy cartridges.

Back in the early 00's this was all the rage. Taking full-size consoles and minimizing them into hand-held beauties. I think there was even a portable GameCube during the time that was a relevant console. Let's see...

N64 Portable--the first one, but somebody improved the design some time ago. I like the look of the first one more, but the second one seems to be a bit more functional, actually having the d-pad and L button.

There was another SNES that I think was better, but I can't seem to find it anymore. This one looks totally usable though, and if it's being mass produced, all the better.
