According to the newsletter, Lance Armstrong's chances of being banned for life is very high since he's done fighting the charges. He is in risk of being banned for life from cycling at all, and may have his 7 Tour De France titles stripped from his grasp since they think he has done Performance Enhancing Drugs.

I'm kind of with leggy on this one, except if he really was doping that whole time, he definitely deserves it.  Now that he has the titles stripped, this is a much more controversial story, and his reputation will be tainted forever.

I was unaware that Performance Enhancing Drugs were a factor as well. Anything I read or watched focused on Blood Doping, which is completely different from using a drug. Regardless, blood doping is also against competition rules mostly because of the danger that can come with it, so the punishment would have been deserved even if performance enhancing drugs were not in the mix.
