August 30th...I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm in an advanced class program at my school which means I have 4 of my classes with the same people. 7th grade was a blast, and I'm hoping I'm with most of the same people this year (I heard we were being mixed around (NO!!))

Wow! You guys must all live in the north!  I sure do miss late starting years! My dad was in the military, so I went to many many different schools, but most of them were in the north.  They all started after labor day.

Where I live now though, school usually starts in the first or second week of August!  They finally made a law so that we can't start that late, but now it starts August 20th.  Still earlier than all of you!
