I personally changed mine myself, but I have friends whose profiles have changed to timelines automatically. Apparently everyone on Facebook will eventually have a timeline. Some hate it others love it. I liked the old proliferation layout but the timeline is alright, can't say I hate it though.

i hate it. Iv long known it will eventualy change but god it sucks.
A common joke was to log onto friends fabebook accounts and 'upgrade' timeline, they couldnt reverse it. Lol

I got switched to Timeline automatically.... but not until WAY after my mother did. It's really annoying; I preferred the old layout. Honestly, I'm having many issues using the new Layout so I basically don't log into Facebook at all... not that I really used Facebook much before, anyhow. It was a very small part of my life, except when I played CastleVille - at which point, I skipped Facebook entirely and played on Zynga.

As soon as I logged on to Facebook one evening, I noticed that they added a new feature on there called the Facebook Timeline. I don't really care for it much but there have been less people on Facebook because of it.

When I first saw time line is when my bf had changed it himself and showed me how it was like. I didn't like it at all because it showed way too much information in my opinion. Logging into my face book about 5 days ago and I noticed my profile had changed to Time line. I don't like this at all and I didn't want my profile to become this way. It's great for people that role play and are into anime/conventions and such. :/

I don;t see why everyone's hating on timeline! Honestly, I think it looks really nice and it presents your profile in a neat, chronological order making it easier for you to see what you've done through facebook.

I have timeline my self , but i personally don't even like it . I like the older profile theme , it is more organized and more classic ( i like being classic ) , and the new facebook profile ( Also known as the timeline ) is kinda messy , if you as me . But if i changed mine to the older profile , they would say that i am out dated . So , I hate time lines !!

I was perfectly content with the facebook wall, it was simple to use and never got in my way or slowed things down like the timeline seems to do to me every single time I get on some ones. I found an add on for firefox, I am not sure if there is one for other web browsers (considering I only really use firefox), but it changes the appearance of timeline to look like the wall but unfortunately it does not get rid of the timeline just makes it look different.
