I was surprised by this tbh.
I didnt really expect ecuador to agrevate both the usa, uk and sweden.
Personally, i have mixed views.
I think hes being an a hole trying to avoid the charges (rape essentialy) however im not totally unconvinced by the claim he may be passed over to the usa from there, especially seeing as the uk and sweden wont guarantee him it wont happen.
I dont want the us government getting near him because i can safely guess what will happen.
I also dont want him getting away with a crime by claiming persecution.
Equally, i think ecuador only granted it to draw attention to itself, yes, your independent, yes, you wont just blindly follow what the uk/us tells you to do, we get it.
I could add furhter conspiracy by adding the possibility that the rest of south america, predominantly Argebtina may have leaned on this to happen as a symbol to the uk, my main reason for thinking this being that ecuador said that it was not the uk's colony, mirroring what argentina said.
Essentially, politics is getting in the way of what should be a fairely straighforward trial.
Anyway, what are your thoughts, points to *you*
Oh, i made a super amassing map too, i tricked you into a geography lesson.

What I know about swedish law, he made a big deal out of nothing. Even if found guilty he would have only had to pay a huge fine, gotten a few months of probation and he could have gone his merry way. Or maybe not even that. Now he just looks quilty. And if he is, he really desrves some jail time. But the swedes I think would never ever turn him to the US. They are just not like that.

Brigand :
I dont know much about swedish law, but the fact he was so determined to avoid trial, and jumped bail that his suporters raised, makes me highly suspicious of him

Assange is great, he gave us information about corporations and governments that they shouldn't be hiding, for free, and he's a felon.
On the other hand, Mark Zuckerberg gives corporations and governments OUR information, that we have every right to hide, for money, and he's man of the year.

With the rape, I feel as if that's a false claim, made up so that they'll have something to charge him by in case he defeats them in court over the release of the documents.

I agree people had a right to see those documents but hes acting so jumpy about the charges that I really cant trust his character.
Yeh, facebook and google are bad for selling out on usertrust.
I dont think anyone has tried charging assange over the documents yet.
The usa would if it could, and the uk probably wont because there would be an uproar.
The equadorian embassy asked sweden and the uk to sign a guarantee he wouldnt be extradited to the usa from sweden, and I really cant see a reason not to.
Hes always claimed he didnt want to go because he thought the usa was pulling strings. If we guarantee him that wont happen we can either get this case over and done with, or see if he still refuses to go. As good an admission of guilt as any.
There are so many lies and acusations that I dont trust any side at the moment.
