I taught myself how to play the guitar and the bass guitar and I also sort of taught myself how to do some fast rapping styles sort of like Tech N9ne and Busta Rhymes, I'm still working on that one though. I can do quite a bit of it now however.

In essences, I have taught myself everything that I know.  I am an individualist.  I generally learn by the process of self entused teaching.  I do however give credit to the books and the teacher that have helped me get a better understanding.  One of the things that I am most pleased with that I have taught myself is Latin.  Latin is an ancient language and not many people can generally speak it.

When ever I am learning a new language the words just come to me and when I learn to play a new instrument the notes just swim around my brain and I just love to spend my time playing music and one of my life goals is to play in the Houston Symphony as a Violist.

 I taught myself how to whistle. It's not the kind where you put your fingers in your mouth, but its a whistle all the same. I also taught myself how to take a hit. I'm not someone to go around starting fights but majority of girls at my school are total "girly girls" and will say Ow for the slightest thing. I can be hit with a soccer ball and laugh about it, they might start crying or at least tell the teacher.

I'm having to teach myself to use more recent technology.  Despite my young age, I grew up in a household where technology was not a big thing.  I'm not even a huge fan of using my phone for anything other than making phone calls, and I don't know what all the cell phones are capable of.  However, my principal wants us to incorporate them into our lessons.... (ew.), and I need to be more aware of what my students are capable of with all their little gadgets.

So I've slowly been teaching myself all the fluff.  It's.... interesting.  LOL
