Yes it probally really does suck and i can imagine that.
But if no one worked on saturdays or Sunday that would mean no shops would ever be open on saturday or Sunday! It always refers back to "Sombody has to do it eventually"

I worked nearly every Saturday for 4 years while I was going to school. After I quit that job and was working M-F 9-5 I didn't know what to do with myself on Saturdays. It was bliss.

Good thing about working saturday, is if you get a day off during the week.. when others are working and what not.. its an open invitation to play video games.
