I personally prefer RayMan over Mario, I kind of fell he is underrated. It is not that I don't like Mario, I do, but to me Rayman has more of a charm in his games. I just borrowed New Super Mario Bros, I am near the end of the second world, but so far I think it is just OK and can't get into it (Don't know why). On the other hand I got Rayman origins for my birthday last year and I didn't want it to end, The art, crazy characters, music were all really good. I am not asking who is better, obviously Mario has made more of a impact, but who you like better.

I agree with you, Rayman is better. Mario started something for sure but rayman added onto it. Both are great but I choose rayman overall. I've only played the original rayman game and that's my opinion. Hoping to buy origins sometime in the future. Long live platforming.
