Yeah, probably want a different source to read from... (Mega Man is the Blue Bomber. Sonic is the Blue Blur)

But yeah, I've heard of the "Sonic Cycle". Honestly, I just think it's nostalgia noobs ranting some more, so I just ignore it, Nya~.

MegaRevolution1 : There is also a bunch of "new Sonic cycles" for Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations. The original just shows what usually happened for the previous games.
