Vizzed was down (on and off) for about 2 days but I've found the problem and actually it was a problem that we had a few months back which can be read about here.

Anyway, now that I've found the problem and godaddy has risen the disc space limit for the next 48 hours, time to clean out those log files again

EDIT: Even though I fixed and prevented the problem from happening to "vizzed" my other site I never fixed the problem and since that site is also on the vizzed server, it caused both sites to go down.

not sure if it will help the issue but would clearing out all the inactive accounts (the 0 post count ones) help at all? Just a thought.

Now that I think about it that really wouldn't save very much space at all if they haven't posted anything.... oh well. I still think you should do that. I hate searching through thousands of people that haven't posted to find someone in the memberlist.

The accounts barely take any space at all.

Maybe log a little less? Trim the output a little so that they don't get so big so fast.

And maybe automatically delete old logs? (Unless you choose to save them)

Has nothing to do with the database of the board, the boards database is probably less than 30 MB in size.

It was the log files but I made them only store 1 at a time for vizzed.com but the other site I have was storing them all so I deleted them all and made that one to only store 1 at a time also.

So the problem is fixed and should never happen again.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
