I search a good screen recorder, But I don't find one that is good. It must be free and You must show me the download link.

The reason why I search a screen recorder, is because I want to make videos of the RGR plug-in. I made one video of the RGR plug-in, But I use my 3DS to do that, and the video recorder of the 3DS is not good to make that, and it's the only thing with what I can record. And a screen recorder will be more good.

CarBitGTSaxen : Ik that happened in my mega man 2 walkthrough. I'm not sure but when I had the volume high it worked fine. If it doesn't work then you can get FRAPS if you're willing to pay for it. If not then idk. If ur willing to do videos without sound than you can get taksi.

You can try CamStudio. I do not know if this works for Windows 7 though. It worked on my old computer (Windows Vista) but not my newer one (Windows 7). This software is pretty simple and easy to use. However, if you experience with this is anything like mine, I should let you know you might have some trouble at first finding out where the videos are located when finished.

I think he already chose a camera so there's no longer any need for this thread. Maybe there's more but if not this thread should be closed.

Well, you have a few options: do you want to pay or not. If you want to pay, try these two screen recorders (others are okay):
1. Fraps (can record PC games and also benchmark) and it uses a loss-less codec
2. Bandicam: records PC footage well and unlike the Fraps trial 30 second limit, this trial limit is 15 minutes and has small file size if right.

For the free ones:
1. Camstudio
2. Active Presenter

Note, you can use the Camstudio loss-less codec to get smaller sizes, BUT IF IT DOESN'T SHOW UP LOOK HERE
I found the way to use it on 64 bit systems, here i found it was here:

thank a guy named moisamva for this post: after installing codec, go to your System32 folder [(Local Disc)WindowsSystem32]  and copy the "camcodec.dll" to the SysWOW64 folder
*note, you need admin rights to do this
If you still don't see it, go to notepad and paste this text into it:

Afterwards, save the file as all files and end it with the .reg extenstion (ex. (insert name here).reg) and run it and you should see the codec, if not reboot.
