Is there a possibility of getting others to help cause I cant do it all by myself with all the users in there...

We should create a session for Super Mario Bros.

Davideo7 : I would love to help you guys, but with my stepmom's mac, I can't download the plugin. If you could help me find a software that would allow me to download it so I can help it would be great, but I can definitely help August 11 on.

I can't provide a tutorial though since I've never used a Mac.

This sound interesting. I would  not mind getting back on the books to test this out for you. As you know I am always willing to help you out with testing and reviewing your content. Also let me know if you want any of the roms I have that are not on the site. I have about 250 Super Mario World homebrew hacks that you don't have. Some are demos while some are full complete games. I am also still working on that Zelda mod and when I'm done a demo of it I will give you that as well. Let me know.

Today I've tested several games,, but few of them worked.


Super Bomberman 3: It always freezes of the first frame shown while music continues to play. Sometimes it will show the visuals moving, but it freezes quickly afterward.

Pokémon Ruby: worked perfectly, but since net play only has multiple people share a save, there's no need to test this.

Mario Kart 64: first time I was able to get in, move around the cursor, and pick a character. I tried to see if I could change my controls to see if I have them like I want them, but I was unable to. We were unable to play because p3 couldn't move. The second attempt I got in, but this time I was unable to move. In an attempt to see if any of my buttons worked, I found out that I could only press 'B', which resulted in me exiting out of menu, much to the other players' annoyance (sorry guys). We eventually quit because of this.

Contra: I got in successfully and configured controls, but I found out the host wasn't able to play and I became player 1.

so far, I was unable to netplay with anyone, but hopefully we can manage to get this thing working and have awesome netgames in the future!

I'd like to test it out but don't think I have enough posts to qualify would love to help

Pros

+ Awesome to play with other people.
+ Funnier to see other people try.

Cons

- A little lag. I got a Game Over in world 8 on Super Mario Bros 1 because of it.
- Sounds get off sync.
- Super Bomberman 3 would load, but it only showed a black screen and I could hear the title screen music. That was all!
- I was having a problem trying to do anything on Contra. Since I was player 3, I couldn't do anything.
- Same thing with Mario Party 3, but the game wouldn't start at all. Black screen with NO music or sounds coming out.


There might have been a few more Cons, but I don't know any more of them. But still, awesome netplay.

The cons are the ones to be fixed. The lag is maybe the server if someone isn't in the server's location.

Ok, I tried to use another computer in the house and I tried playing Mario Party, but to no success. Ghostblood then suggested Hot Wheels Turbo Racing, which ended up working perfectly. I was able to see and control my car,buut there was quite a bit of lag. But I did win a race, but then he went and beat me XD.

My guess: Netplay is currently extremely bipolar. I really don't think me switching computers helped, but it was rather pure luck that allowed me to play one-on-one with Ghostblood.

I would gladly test it for you Davideo if that would be a help!

Oh, this is cool! Netplay is a crazy feature that doesn't exactly work perfectly in various emulators, so if you could perfect it here on Vizzed, that would be just awesome! Though, I'd image that'd be a lot of work to do, so I wish you and the testers the best of luck!
Maybe if the netplay testing is still up if by the crazy chance I get to ten posts, I'd like to try it out with my friend. Although, she'd have to get 10 posts too, so yeah.
I'd probably have to wait until the beta testing is done anyway. Hope you guys have fun with it!

We had a hard time starting when players 1 and three or w/e would be skipped, and then player 7 and a lurker come. It assigned players quite randomly, ignoring time, and sometimes it was hard to tell which one you were. There was minor lag, and the player limit ment nothing. 4 could join, and it could be player 3, 4, 7, and a lurker.

It was sadly very laggy and most the time there were more players that allowed

This needs to be fixed

Pacman and Matt did get Mario Party 2 to work but thats as far as we got

Hope this gets fixed cause im very exited to play online Snes and N64 games with other members

David, most of the time barely any trusted members come into the lobby, which means we can only do nothing meaning that work's not getting done. I think we need more trusted members beta testing netplay.

So if this plugin comes out it will have net play because I really would like to battle against people online and try to beat people in other games. If not then I won't complain but I might be a little upset. I would really like to try it but alas I can't.
