Going to go East. Even though there might be mountains, I might get around them a bit later. Depending how far I walk there.

big fat cat : Leggy City, our destination, appears to be fairly close the Southeastern border of the island. Most likely we need to go south or east, but seeing as how you just got a map, maybe you could try using it to be sure? Not sure how item mechanics work though.

You currently don't "know" where you are, unless you've been paying attention to the story and are picking up on hints. My guess is that once the next update happens people will start getting a much better idea.

legacyme3 : just a thought that's been nagging me for a while. How many people are you going to allow to play this? I mean we have at least 6 players i think..  Maybe you should set it at a max of 8/10 obviously up to you.. But with all the recent thread games dying abruptly recently I'd like for this to carry on for a while

Since you all chose options that had 20-0, I'm not going to roll any dice. No point, you will all succeed.

Also a note, this is the length of an entry to expect when you choose a direction. It has nothing to do with a lack of creativity, but not a lot of story line will happen while walking. For the most part it's just you two walking in a certain direction. You also only go one unit in each direction. Only I have the version of the map with the unit listed.

Aaron follows Pacman, although he's not terribly sure why he's choosing the head to the mountains. Regardless, you arrive at a sand dune that the two of you spend the day trying to climb. You successfully get up, but you figure a lot more could have been accomplished if you had gone around it.

Once you get to the top of the dune, you take in your surroundings. To the east you see a few more miles of sand before the ground turns hard. To the south you see a little more sand than in the east, as well as a few dunes. To the west, you see a small town... the same one you saw last time. And more sand. Lots of sand. Oh, and to the north? Guess what champ. More sand. Yeah, get used to it.

You head east, across the plains. You haven't really seen a whole ton of those security checkpoints Leggy mentioned... was he just pulling your leg? Whatever the case, you and Kyle make it to the outskirts of a city.

When you consult your map, you look for landmarks. The only thing you've noticed is that a river is running nearby. You observe this from the downslope of a hill, as straight in front of you is an endless plain, one of the largest you've seen in a long time.

He ends the conversation suddenly as Madly Obsessed Muffin Love is lowered into the water. You sit there for a short time, wondering how you are going to get to Leggy City. As far as you can tell, you aren't even close to it, and all you know is water is all around you.

You get an idea... but maybe it's better to think this through...
