mjabcd1234 : Actually, with the harden and iron defense, plus the whole more life thing, Metapod would have won. Struggle damages the user as well, and takes more than one health away. The Metapod would have won due to the fact that the Magikarp would've Ko'd itself.

Level 42 Wailord with splash, water spout, surf, and rollout.

A move is only "not very effective" if a pokemon has a resistance to it. So why would hydro pump be not very effective to metapod a pure bug type? So gyarados would with out a doubt beat metapod long before stuggle would activate with either one of it's water moves.

balesKY33 : Why don't you let mj run his thread how he wants to run it, instead of criticizing it without making a Pokemon for him to make a battle with. For my next Pokemon, I want to have a level 42 Gyrados that knows Dragon Rage, Hydro Pump, Surf, and Iron Tail.
