this is perfect ive always wanted to know what this pericular dream was about    ok i seem to be in a house in a attic but its giant big enogh for me to stand up in i see a girl dressed in a white cloak dress type thing all i could see was her hair she stared giggling and i felt a very stong erge to go after her there was also mist everywhere in the house so i could not see very well so i started chasing her i was never running out of energy and the attic or whatever i was in seemed endless i finally caught up to her and i turn her around and suddenly shes gone i did not see a glimse of here face i had this dram when i was 5 and i always remember it i could never figure out what it ment

james44028 : Hi james44028, i will give you my interpretation of the dream. The attic in your dream could resemble your subconsious mind
itself and that finding a girl in your subconsius "room" could resemble you having girls on your mind. She is wearing white so you might say that you like that colour or it resembles the girl cool or good. In your dream when you catch up to her it could mean that you are sure or confident enough that you will find a girlfreind, mate or wife, whatever. The mist and you not seeing her face probably resembles not knowing who your future girlfriend is. If this description didn't fit your feelings about the dream, then it is probably wrong, but maybe this might help.

SunflowerGaming :   I've had some dreams similer to yours but different, you don't seem to be a pushover but in your dream you are always running and hiding. It could resemble how you feel about problems in general, that you know you can run from problems or scary things but is that really overcoming them?  If you have these kind of dreams a lot i suggest before you go too sleep that you recite a small phrase like " i will beat Jayson Vorhees tonight" about ten times and believe that you can do it. While reciting a messege like that could actually make you dream about the subject you might just remember in your dream your little "mantra" and stand up to what ever is bothering you. A lot of my dreams i sometimes overcome my nightmares and sometimes i just have a bad dream, hope this helps.

I had a dream that I was at my house in my room hanging out with my cousin and someone knocked on my door yelling police open up you're under arrest, and we had been doing something I'm not really sure what but it was something you couldn't just put down and leave to go do something else, so it took a minute to get to the door so the cops were gone and I looked out the window and saw a police cruiser from were I used to live driving away and two of my friends again from were I used to live running away from my house, does this mean anything at all?

jlh : i just woke up and i had a strange dream do you think you could interpret it?ok here goes:i was i some sort of video game world like the first ff game or chrono trigger i went to get  weapon but the sales person wasn't there when a came out there was some animal like a mouse masked me to get rid of a strange noise 2 people wet in me and someone else i got lost in the darkness and and out he didn't. i went back in with someone else he had also told me the cave was named joeys cave i was also wonder where my friend had gone.then i herd the voice of one of my real friends in my class saying "joeys hitting me" repeatedly i tried running out of the cave but for some reso i got lost and fell (in dream) then woke up my whole body was shaking and i was scared to death.

I had this dream a few nights ago, and it was about a bad guy who was killing everyone besides two of two-hundred. I escaped by going it the trash can that leaded to a secret lab. At first,  I didn't know what to do. I didn't see a way out or anything! A few seconds later, some of the people who went in the trash can found the lab then me. Pretty much what we did for the remainder of the time, everybody started dancing so did I. In the middle of the party or the dance, Sadly my mom work me up and I almost punched her in the face. That's pretty much it. XD

jlh : I had a pretty intense dream the other night, I talked to my psychiatrist about it but I wanted to see what you think about it so here goes....

Okay, so it starts out with me being at a party in some house, don't know the place in real life as far as I know, and I'm with my family. So it's my Mom, older brother and sister and myself. And the girl that stalked me about 12 years ago, shows up at the party. She apparently followed me, in my dream that is, and she keeps trying to follow me. It gets me to the point where I yell at her saying: "Leave me alone, I don't want anything to do with your psychotic butt!"

Apparently it really ticks her off and she gets so angry that she goes into the kitchen, smashes a dinner type plate, grabs a jagged edge piece and starts stabbing me with it. In my dream, I can literally feel myself being stabbed. I'm bleeding to death and my Mom tries to save me but I end up dying.

Then it shows the girl talking to her Mom while she is in prison. She's like talking strangely and saying crazy stuff and her Mother is actually consoling her, telling her it wasn't her fault. And then I wake up.

I honestly don't understand why I dreamt that. I don't even understand the ending. I am guessing it's because when she was stalking me, her Mom and Dad would make any and every excuse for her whenever she did anything wrong to anyone, but most especially me. They acted like nothing happened. Anyway, once I find out what your take is on this, I'll let you know what my psychiatrist said about it and what she thought it might mean. I hope to hear from you soon. I'm interested in knowing what your thoughts are on this.

SunflowerGaming : I would say you care about your family and anything that could potentional harm them, and having a stalker in real life would probably be on your subconsious mind, reminding you of it or triggering a nightmare. When you see the girl in prison in your deam, it sounds like you are thinking of other people lives or what would happened if a violent crime took place.

jlh : That makes sense to. My psychiatrist said it could mean that I feel that I don't have control over certain things in my life so that it may not only be about the girl but the fact that in the dream I am unable to control what happens. But yours also makes perfect sense as well. Thanks for replying for promptly.

james44028 :  I have had some of those kind of dreams if i was playing a game or movie my dream would be about that, Having your friend in the dream signifies that you care for your friend and that by re entering the cave for your friends may resemble courage.

jlh : May I ask how you got into the whole interpreting dreams thing? Like how you learned how to interpret dreams and what got you interested in that?

Can't answer for him, but dream interpretation isn't as difficult as they make it out to be. It's just a matter of knowing how your mind perceives things.

For example, a dream about falling could be about a person's fear of doing poorly and failing in a certain task ahead of them. It can also symbolize freedom for some people. It's all about how the individual perceives different things.

Like someone might like spiders, and dream about them, and have it mean something as absurd as "people will stick to you." or for someone like me who is afraid of spiders, it could mean "Avoid things that are sticky."

Symbolism and Metaphorical emphasis are what drive dream interpretation.

Or you could be like a lot of people and just bulls*** to believe what you want to believe

XxEzraxX :   Sounds to me that in your dream the police was really after your friends and that the police were gone might symbolise that you feel innocent, again you might think of your friends a lot to be dreaming of them, that and the po police haha. Plus i would read Legacyme3's last post, it has some helpfull information on dreams.
 
SunflowerGaming I always had nightmares and weird dreams and i come across some info on reading dreams, and yes i agree with legacy, i have had a lot of falling dreams when i was little and i googled it up to see what it meant.

I'm sure you don't need my help and you could look up some info on this subject, my suggestion would be to have a good mind set (good mood) before sleeping, you could also experiment with a little saying before sleeping, something short like "I will have good dreams tonight" about ten times and see what happenes. Their is some usefull information in a book called Ninja mind controll, basicle meditation to controll ones own mind.

Yeah, I've tried those in the past.

I just suffer from major depression and some form of anxiety. As well as being an insomniac.

So generally, even I don't know when I'll get sleep, so it's kind of hard to fall asleep positive, unless I'm positive all the time, which is pretty hard considering the depression.

Medicine would probably solve it, but I'd rather not do that.
