Even though Portal 2 put a close on the Chell vs. GLaDOS confrontation, do you think there should be a 3rd game? I believe so. Maybe a spinoff introducing another person representing the player. Maybe Chell finds her way back in Aperture Laboratories. What do you think?

No they pretty much tied up the entire series in the second game, but they could make a prequel for the first one that would be interesting. I guess we will have to wait and see what the portal crew decides.

SamB : There's actually a fan-made add-on called Portal: Prelude that tells the backstory to Portal before Chell came along.
But, back to the topic, I don't really think we need another game in the Portal series. I think we should focus on HλLF-LIFE 3 more, but that's just me.

I don't know what they'd do in terms of story for Portal 3, but a continuation of the game is something I'd love to see. The dialogue in that game is just so hilarious. I'd love to see more of it, and more random quotes for the fans!

I think it'd be cool to have another portal, but like SamB said, their should be a prequel, like how Aperture science got started, or who Chell is, or something along those lines. Forget the story. The portal game is so good because you have to actually think about what you to do play the game. This alone should make Valve create a third game, so they can prove smart games can be really fun too.

Going by the story, there is no real need for a portal 3, but of-course it, despite the actual storyline of the game, I'd love there to be another portal game, some puzzles in Portal actually make you think, even come up with some more unreal solutions, that sometimes, only generally turn out after immense frustration with a puzzle, only then can you truly think with portals because, much like Cave Johnson, you have went mad, crazy, coocoo.
