So I promised my little sister that on her fith birthday she would get a whole loaf of zucchini bread.

One problem I never made it before! >.<

So I went on the cooking site I go to All Recipes.
I searched the recipe for zucchini bread and studied a few of them.

Now I hate butter and white flower so I changed a few things. I used a cup of apple sauce with a quarter cup of olive oil and I used whole wheat flower instead of white flower.

Then when I was about to do the zucchini I realized I had no grater... >.<
Well I spent about 2 hours finely cutting slivers of zucchini! With much determination I was able to replicate grated zucchini!

Before I put the mix into the loaf pans I sprayed my cooking spray instead of using butter and put the flower on top of the spray so the bread would not stick to the pan.

An hour later the house is filled with a lovely aroma! Now this made two loafs so I took the one for my house and sliced off a piece for me to taste!


It was HEAVENLY! I really out did myself! The bread did not stick or crack and it tastes just perfect! I can't wait for tomorrow where my little sister gets to have some!

You actually spent 2 hours replicating grated zucchini? Wow! o.o I couldn't imagine doing that... I don't have that much patience.

It probably tasted so good, because you put all that time in making it. Haha

Well she never got to have any around me due to the fact she fell asleep on the way home from swimming... She though was so happy to see that I actually made it. No one has ever given her an entire loaf of zucchini bread. She would only get a few slices from church or her baby sitter but never an entire loaf. It was so fun to see her eyes sparkle when she got to hold the loaf! I can't wait to hear how she likes it!
