I joined Vizzed to actually communicate with other fellow gamers from around the world. And I will say, this is probably the best Video Game centric forum on the web. All I'm asking is, did you only join Vizzed to use The RGR?

At first, yes. I joined primarily thanks to the RGR.

However, now I barely use it. How is THAT for a twist of fate?

At first I only joined Vizzed for RGR but then I find myself barely using it now and mostly finding my self in group discussions. From time to time I use RGR though.

Nope, Even if I was more interested on the RGR than anything, I also joined because of the threads and the people here.

Originally yes, I did join Vizzed solely for the Retro Game Room unaware of the board or what a "board" even was for that matter! I slowly adjusted to the community and now I'm a big part of it and I'm glad to be here!

I barely use the R.G.R anymore.

Although I joined Vizzed mainly for the RGR, I also joined for the sake of being in a forum, since I like forums.

Initially, yeah, but after a few days I decided vizzed was much more than just games.

I did join because of the RGR. I didn't want to play five times, so I made this account, along with a back-up account just in case if I got banned. I barely use it now and I post here.

No, I actually did not join Vizzed to play on the RGR. In fact, I've very rarely played anything in there, and usually it was just to help debug some problem somebody was having. I mostly prefer playing "retro" games on their dedicated consoles, and I have most of the games I like to play in physical form, so there's really no need for it. Add to that, I have a pretty large collection of ROMs saved on my computer from my days as a teenager, and more computer games than I can shake a fist at, there's really no reason for me to venture in there at all. I did play a few rounds of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in a misguided attempt at having the high-score, but I missed it by a few thousand points, and haven't wanted to go back and try again.

Any way, in case you were curious about my reasons for joining Vizzed, I was actually searching for help with a problem in the PC port of Sonic Generations, when I stumbled across a bug report thread here. I read through it and quickly realized this forum was based on the now defunct Acmlm board software, and more importantly, that the forum was active and thriving! So I hastily signed up because at my heart, I'm basically a forum whore. That seems kind of odd considering I barely get 100 posts per month now (Compared to about 1000 per month when I was a teen ager) but I'm a bit older now, and I prefer to play games more than post on message boards. And that's actually kind of funny in and of it self when you take into account that other site I pay out of pocket to have, which is pretty much just a forum for all (or at least most... Well some) of my friends (Who I could communicate with through Facebook or other means anyway).

I guess, the biggest reason I joined Vizzed was (Cue dramatic music) I was lonely. Even with my wife I just needed someone else to talk to, and I hate all of my coworkers, so I turned to the Internet. Gaaay.

No, I didn't join for the RGR. I forgot why I joined...
I didnt even know Vizzed had RGR till about 1 week after registering and only used it like 5 times lol

I used to only use the RGR but now I socialize almost every day here!

When I first joined I would only be in the RGR playing some games
and I would never talk to anyone.....just play .

But I've decided to change that and try to post and have friends on here
to become more active. It's not so boring on here when you have friends
that chat or play games with you . Becoming an Site Staff has made me
become even more active and now I come on here often .

So yes I did join just for that but I do other things on here now ~~

For me it would have to be both. I can ask any VG related question on here, the people are nice, I can be my game loving self, and no one asks "What are you talking about?" But I also love the INSANE selection of games, I love the game chat, I really looked at everything this website had to offer before joining, and I must say, it's great!

Yes, but I made a newbie thread and got addicted! I still play the RGR tho.

Well to be honest, I didn't know Vizzed had a RGR at first. At least until I came back on here about a week later.
