I'm sure there are plenty of good 5200 and 7800 emulators around the web.
Also, if the Dreamcast can be in the VGR, Why not the Saturn?

Any disc based systems can't go in the RGR because they take up too much memory. Saturn could probably be in the VGR. VGR is a fairly new feature so it's nowhere near complete.

tRIUNE :

I did a quick image search and it does look like both the 5200 and the 7800 are cartridge-based; however, I doubt we could get those games on this site because Atari had already requested that David remove games for the 2600. If they do not want David using games for one console, chances are they will not want his using any of the others.

Ok. They looked familiar, but I couldn't decide what system it was. Still, Atari already had us remove the 2600 as Aura said. If we start adding their other systems, that might tick them off a bit. It's a lot easier and safer to just avoid trouble.

The Sega Saturn probably has a future in the VGR though.

I don't even think there's any good Sega Saturn emulators in existence, I could be wrong though. But yeah, as BNuge said, disc games are far too big, especially Dreamcast.

We might see 5200 and 7800 in the near future though. Atari only requested us to remove a few Atari 2600 games, basically just ones that they developed themselves. They gave me a list of franchises that can't be on the site so I'll obey that list if and when I added Atari 5200 and Atari 7800.

Davideo7 : Actually, I believe you're right on that, "I don't even think there's any good Sega Saturn emulators in existence".
I forgot where I heard this, so I apologize if I'm wrong, but the main reason why the Saturn isn't very popular is due to the fact it's really difficult to emulate and such, Nya~.

MegaRevolution1 : Yeah and I've also heard one of the reasons it wasn't successful is because it was so hard to make games for compared to the playstation so a lot of developers made their games for the playstation instead.

dazzsheil : Actually I didn't, sorry about that

I'm actually so use to everyone asking for systems to be added to the RGR that my brain just ignored the fact that you said VGR and not RGR.

Yeah Sega Saturn will eventually be added to the VGR. I'd like to eventually have every system added to the VGR.

Davideo7 : The Saturn emulator I have works great. "SSF". As a Saturn lover, I'd only get what works very good. I've played games on it with no problem with the exception of only one, but it might just be that particular game itself. You could give SSF a try and if it still doesn't work out to well, then it doesn't work out.

Cyro Xero : I'm pretty sure SSF is the emulator that I have as well and it doesn't have 100% compatibility. There were a few games I tested that had graphical errors, including Bug! (but maybe my setup is wrong).

Cassini is also one of the better Saturn emulators.

dazzsheil :

I know that wasn't your original intention. Cyro brought up that there might be compatible emulators and it wouldn't be a bad thing to add it. I just figured I'd make sure tRIUNE was aware since he handles most of the uploading.

tRIUNE :

Was there supposed to be a post after that quote?
