Definitely Big, Big the Cat, I remember when playing Sonic Adventure, after finishing 5 story lines, and the only one left was Big, I was like: "Well, here goes nothing...". And in Twinkle Park, I was like: "... Seriously...?". I mean FISHING, and the controls were weird, and a little hard to use. I just played it to get to the final story, I even thought to leave it like that, but I just HAD to finish it.




I guess next would be Charmy(?), I mean only for his voice, and because he only flies around. But he isn't in many games (without counting Cameos, collectibles, and stuff):




Knuckles' Chaotix


Sonic Heroes


Shadow the Hedgehog


Sonic Colors (DS) 


Sonic Generations

I mean, could be worse.




And about Shadow, his character lost it's purpose, now he's just a dark guy with no real goal. I haven't played Shadow the Hedgehog, nor I finished playing Sonic 06 but I kind of know how it goes.

I hate no Sonic characters,I dislike some though. Emerl was a giant story plot character in Sonic Battle,he's useless and barely has his own moves! That's all.

I think my least favorite is probably Chip from Sonic Unleashed because he's always whining like a wuss. Not to mention he constantly eats sweets all the time. You'd think he would get fat in the game. Oh well.

First off Big the Cat isn't stupid. He flew Tails's broken plane and lived in Sonic Adventure, but my most hated character in any sonic game has to be Jet the Hawk from the sonic riders series. Jason Grifith is a terrible voice actor and I hate his voice especially when he did Jet. I also don't care for his face or how he keeps a tool like Storm the Albatross around when his voice is even more annoying than Jet's.

I don't typically approve of "hate" threads but there is actually one character in the Sonic franchise that really should have never been made and the fact that they reused him as much as they have is really a big mistake...

That is Big the Cat. He's a stupid character, a stupid concept, and adds no real value to the story at all. He sounds like a retard every time he speaks and pretty much acts like one. Sega would do well to pretend he never existed if you ask me >.>

I'm afraid I have to agree with the thread creator on this one. If there's ANY character I'd want to burn out of all of the ones in the series, it's Charmy the Bee. Only thing he's good for is being the flying member of Team Chaotix in Sonic Heroes. That's it. Even Marine from Sonic Rush Adventure serves more of a purpose in my eyes than him.

Big would be a close second, if only because he seems out of place, and for other reasons which for personal and non-personal reasons I can't divulge here.
