In order to play pokemon silver, the game requires a backspace key. But my laptop doesn't have one. I keep going to set keys to fix this, but after I do that, none of the keys work anymore, even if I didn't change them. Any ideas?

That being said, if you use the RGR plugin you can configure the controls to whatever you want. Even to be able to use a PC controller. To configure controls, double-click the game window.
