is this the only nes game that wont work for you alucard?
you need to play the game using the rgr plugin or it wont work, so just checking are you trying to play using the plugin?

Also this should be closed soon as the thread was really just to advertise the download, now that it's playable in the rgr, well the thread is sorta pointless...

DarkHyren: Actually it's still good to keep open since it's still driving in traffic and I'd still like for people to ask questions or make comments regarding the game.

Yea I'm useing the plug-in and i've played several other NES games. :/

It gives me the it couldnt load, usally caused by anothe game already open error, when i dont have any other games open, and I do have the updated plug-in

Ok it's been fixed, one of my staff members renamed the file for some reason

Wrong Rom, sorry about that, it should play the Englsh translation now.

I apologize for plastering this question everywhere I feel it's relevant, but I want to continue the game, and don't know how to fix the problem. I just got the buggy to escape Corel Prison, and if I get out of the buggy, I'm unable to get back on it. I've hit every button several times, and I can't get back on, and I can't progress any further in the game because of this.

Do anyone know why this might be?

Sorry, I'm afraid I don't. I didn't really have any problems running through the game that would make it unplayable.

That, and I'm not fully familiar with the story of Final Fantasy VII. I'm trying to remember exactly where you are in the game, but I'm not sure.

Well, what I'm supposed to do next after leaving Corel Prison is going to Gongaga to fight Reno and Rude, then first hear about Zack.

After than I'm supposed to get back on my buggy and go to Cosmo Canyon, where you mean Bugenhagen, and have to go through the Cave of the Gi, and battle the Gi Nattak and two soul fires. I thought that maybe I was supposed to beat this part since in the PSX version the buggy breaks down if you try to go past here without completing the story.

After that you're supposed to hop on the buggy and go to Nibelheim and do whatever it is you have to do in the Shinra Mansion. I don't know as I didn't actually try this part yet.

Once that's done you get back on your buggy and go to Rocket Town, where you aquire Cid, mostly likely battle Palmer, and recieve the Tiny Bronco, which may or may not be the end of my troubles. I'm presuming that since I didn't complete all three of the previous events, that a flag wasn't set off, and I couldn't begin the story bit involving Cid.

I'll try it again tomorrow in case it's a freak occurance on my end.

Edit: I figured out what the problem was. This whole time I've been trying to board the buggy by standing on the buggy sprite, when what you actually have to do is stand right beside the buggy and press A or whatever to board. Thanks for helping a dummy play his game! :p

So is there anywhere to find the English ROM for download? I've only been able to find the Chinese version... help!
