sjdswanlund: Yes I help create Vizzed Flash Bash but I did not help create this FF7 game. I am certainly qualified to make such a game in flash though.

I loved the idea, I really did. However, creating games in flash takes a lot of time and for me, time is money. If I had an investor to invest money into something like that I could tackle it alone, however, since I don't have time to work on stuff which I don't get paid for at the moment, this will either be something put off to the side until I either get an investor for this, more free time, or until you find someone else who has a lot of free time and can do this.

Don't worry about it. Perhaps in the future, if all goes well. Also, I knew you were just hosting the download for the FFVII game - the original creators were from China, if memory serves me correctly.

If you ever want other ideas, ones that are much more simple to execute, let me know. I'd like to help.

This is pretty sweet, so far. I got it up and running fine on NesTopia, my preferred Nes emulator.

The only gripe I have is more with the original game creators/pirates, not the translation: the music choices are HORRIBLE! The boss battle theme gives me a headache, and the Mako Reactor's music is a bit too cheery for my tastes. Hopefully someone produces a music hack with chiptunes from the original PSX game.

Other than that, I'm loving the game so far. I kind of always hated the Materia system, so I'm glad to see they fixed that.

I just started on this site today and I don't really know how this works but when I try to download this game, it opens a page and all the page says is: "Your current power level forbids you of accessing this file." Can someone help me or tell me what this means?

I just started playing too. I think it's an interesting game and I'm a sucker for older games or anything that feels older. For example those awesome Dragon Fantasy games on RPG Maker.

I was wondering though is there any way to make the cheats work on Nestopia? There's no Action Replay, just Game Genie and Pro Action Pocky. I've tried inputting codes into it but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong?

Other then that there's nothing wrong with the game. I heard though from somewhere the face sprites are edited from Gundam face sets? xD

If its anything like the FCE Ultra maybe you have to remove the first two digits of the code to get it to work?
Off hand thats the only thing I can suggest, a quick google search doesnt turn up anything.
But I'll let you know if I find anything out.
Anyways, theres a list of codes a few pages back if you want to play around with them.

Nope doesn't seem to work. Though I read somewhere that the pocky replay thing puts numbers in differently but I'm not quite sure how that is supposed to work.

I tried that one emulator where you have to take the 00 out of the codes but I can't even load the game. If I click new or continue it goes black for a second like it's loading then it goes back to the beginning screen where you choose new or continue.

Is there any way to fix this? I don't really need the codes now but I heard the game gets so hard that a lot of people used codes later on. I also heard Yuffie and Vincent aren't in this game? I'm going to guess so since their not on the code list.

That's a little sad but I'm amazed they were able to make FF7's story even on the NES. I've only played the first couple of minutes but I'm going to guess this game is hard? What other NES or possibly SNES versions of other games are there? I know someone made a fanmade version of Zelda NES on the SNES. Then there's FFX on the NES and there's Resident Evil on the NES. Is there any other games like that? Those are pretty cool, I wish there was a FF8 or FF9 on the NES.

I saw this on youtube but it was in chinese then I saw that someone had translated it to english ( Hurray : )

Who did the translation for this port? I am assuming it was a team since even with much of the original game stripped out there is still a huge amount of text to work through.

Anybody have any idea which FF game was used by ShenZhen Nanjing Technology to produce the port? Was it FF2 or FF3
