The N64 emulator controls are being stupid. I can't use the control that would have been the D-Pad on an actual N64 controller. I'm using a PC controller (the same buttons and appearance as a PS3 controller) and no matter what I do, I can't seem to use the D-Pad.

jennings30 : Please only post if you can help or are reporting a thread to a mod.

Anyway Jelly77 since this actually is asking for help with the RGR I am going to send this to the Retro Game Room forum.

They can help you there ok! Any time you need help with the RGR just post there~ If you need help with anything else go to the Help/Suggestion forum.

Good luck!

jennings30 : Please do not spam this thread by posting one word answers or "I don't know" It's preferable to just wait and post in a thread where you actually have something intelligent to say.

Jelly77 : N64 controls are a little difficult to configure right because the N64 controller is such a different beast. Keep in mind to move the N64 mainly used the analog stick, not the D-Pad. So are you saying you are trying to set your Controllers D-Pad to act like the analog stick on the N64? If so, you will have a problem doing that. You are betting off setting the analog stick on your PC controller (If you have one) to work as the N64 stick. If you can't do that, you will have to put with the cruddy accuracy of the D pad acting as a free moving stick(which doesn't work well)

s.bateman : Please use the 1964 N64 emulator so you can re configure the controls to what you want. Double click the game window to set the controls.

Like I said in my previous post, N64 mostly used the analog stick for movement.

s.bateman : So it allows you to configure the controls to what you want them to be, and when you come back they don't work? For any game?

You could try deleting your input file found in your vizzed directory on your PC Try deleting your input file Go to Start Menu > All Programs > Vizzed Retro Game Room > Open Plugin Data Folder > then find the user folder and 1964 file folder.

Of if that seems complicated you could uninstall and reinstall the plugin.

Also be sure to be using Firefox or Chrome as your browser and not IE
