Well they tried making a Television show for sonic and that was horrible i thought, they also tried Mario.. I thought the shows were awful but if they were to make a new show maybe earthbound or like you said metroid would make a good series.

I think if you could count X rated cartoons like Family Guy, they should make a cartoon about Skyrim.  With all the twists and turns in the game, you really could have fun watching it.

Why Microsoft do not try to make a Halo cartoon? Its more popular than Call Of Duty and the game had a great story. It would be the best video game cartoon in the world in my opinion! Call Of Duty will suck if am cartoon of that will be made.

I love Metroid but I don't want Samus to have a voice, the silent type is best, in other M it was cool to hear her talk but I feel like her personality would be completely messed with waaay too much. If anything there should be a Metroid movie. But definitely not a TV show.

These cartoon makers make NO contact with the original creators of the game and have no idea what they're doing. They don't have a feel for the game or its characters, so they just make random garbage that doesn't fit. If a western animator wants to make a cartoon based on a Japanese game, they should do their research and also contact the Japanese developer to get feedback and info.

Anime made off games tends to be stellar, though. This is because the original creators were actually involved in the project.

I don't know if anyone ever saw Nuclear Power's Final Fantasy web comic, but I'd love to see a Final Fantasy cartoon along those lines. Not serious (and defiantly not one of the new Final Fantasies). Just tongue-in-cheek about the gaming universe. I think there's enough Geeks out there to appreciate it.
