I have an interest in genealogy, and was wondering about the heritage of my fellow members here. I myself mostly have English and Scottish ancestry which accounts for 50%, with 25% also coming from Sweden (yes, I am part Viking), and the remaining quarter is a mixture of French and Hungarian. So, how about you?

Well I know that my moms side of the family came from a little country west of Germany. My fathers side has some Cherokee blood. My mom's side mostly lives in the northern parts of the US ( Michigan) where it's cold and my dads side in the south is very hot.

I'm not 100% sure of ALL of my heritage, but one thing is for sure, I'm part German. Around the 1800s my Great x3 Grandfather moved to America from Germany and fought in the Civil War.

I am mainly of 50% English descent, 25% Polish descent, and 25% German descent.  I find this combination interesting because 1) I invaded myself in 1939 and 2) I really don't consider myself part German at all.  The only possible connection to Germany that I have is the aryan complexion (blond hair and blue eyes).

My great granddad on my mum's side, Robert Cator was part of the royal family but was disowned because he married my great grandmother (I've never met her and my parents don't seem to talk about her so I don't know her name) who was a 'commoner'.
My great granddad was mates with the Kray Twins, this kind of freaked me out knowing that they were the sort of guys my great granddad was hanging out with, if you know who the Kray twins are, you'd know why haha
