starwars293 : It's not wrong that you want to post to get jerseys, the Tour de Vizzed is a competition. If anything, it should encourage you to branch out of the forums you usually post in, read different threads than you normally would, and add in to more discussions/debates. However, the competition doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot if you just post a bunch of stupid crap all willy nilly that doesn't have anything to do with anything. Or you just keep replying, pretty much just reiterating what you've already said about five times in that same thread already.

You do know that you and thing1, and other people like you, completely ruin Tour de Vizzed, right? It's an awesome idea, it's a good way to boost activity and get people more interested in the board. However, people like me who would like to post and participate, but have to sift through about 200 of you and thing's BS posts daily to actually get to anything worth commenting on can't participate. Technically I can, but I just want to punch you in the gut everytime I try.

You're not a bad person, you just need to be a little more thought out about where you post and what you say. You're going to get DQ'd a lot more, and eventually, you could probably even be unable to join the tournament. That'd be awesome for me and most of the forum, but I'm sure you'd hate it.

I've been in a chess tournament, but that was for my chess club. We never got a chance to finish it though. I did make it to the semi-finals though.

Also, onto the current topic, when I feel up to it I can be a good opponent, but I play so infrequently I'm rather rusty. I DO have a trophy and a few medals around collecting dust somewhere though from different chess tournaments.

septembern : Played me once or twice, so he can attest that I know how to play. I played Cyro as well in a fairly long game, but I was still rusty that match. ' I got most of the rust off by the time I played sept though.

Ironically enough, the gold medal was the easiest to earn. :/ I had like no real competition that tournament.

I like the bronze medal more, that one was tough to get. That one was in a swiss tourney, and I only had one "easy" match, and that was the first game. What I find hilarious? The only guy to beat me in the whole tourney got 4th place when I got third, because I only lost once and won all the rest and he lost one and stalemated one. His expression at the conclusion of the tourney when he recognized me as I got my bronze medal was priceless. xD

legacyme3 : I tried to finished that one, but whoever it was I was supposed to face couldn't get on as often as I could back then. I'd join another tournament if you held it.

Yeah, I'll probably start a chess tourney later in the month, and hold signups sometime soon.

You know what? I think I'll take a shot at the blue and green jerseys today. I might as well, considering how close I am to 4k posts. Shouldn't be too hard to work up enough motivation for that.
