My favorite ending is a tie between Tales of Symphonia and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Though I prefer Skyward Sword a little because it was supposed to be expected but it still took everyone by surprise and it also created a timeline for the entire series. It was also more of a downer ending that explained WHY we keep seeing Link, Zelda and now Ganondorf over and over.

On the other hand I liked Tales of Symphonia because I enjoyed the interactions between the characters and having watched the entire journey of the main character, Lloyd Irving, grow from a child into the savior of the world felt pretty sweet as the incredibly long credits rolled by.

I just had to add this one, Ninja Gaiden 3. Surprisingly great and fulfiling game ending coming from NES. Good anime through out the credits, a must watch for video game ending fans!
