well i use avast but to bad its only a trial for me that i

can find and its about the same reasons as you but i like

how it has a huge database so it nows almost every virus

and it comes up with updates about every day i think.

but if any1 knows where i can find a full version free

because like i said above all i can find is the free trial.

its also a trust thing. i for example hadnt heard of avast or avira till a year ago, and have had no reason to switch really.

I use Avast, it was the first free one I knew about, does everything well and works.

Well except for sniping computer to computer transfers without warning sometimes. That sucks. :/

I use Avira antivir because its free I was using Avg Grisoft 8.0 Free but i removed it due to it failing to update several times, so i asked a friend of mine which anti-virus program he uses and he told me Antivir(Avira) which works pretty good in my opinion. I even re-installed Avg like 3 times to see if it would fix the problem from it not being able to update but it wouldnt update so now i run Avira free edition.

Its got built in firewall, anti virus, antispyware, (used to have built in defragger), its got IM encryption as well as antiphishing protection and whatnot.. Why would you not want to use it?

Well for firewall I have a router, for spyware I have spybot, I have jkdefrag for defragging and IM encryption is useless as long as both parties don't use it.

I still use spybot, and I still use diskeeper. I dont really care about IM encryption, im not talking about many illegal things anyway, we could always just use a real IM client for that, eh?
