So this seems like a pretty ballsy move to me. If it pays off, and the albums are really good, they could make a lot of money. I don't know if anything can replicate the sheer awesomeness of Dookie, but it's cool to see an album that's just music, and not rock-opera.

I really don't get how a band can release three albums in four months, unless they just saved up songs for them to put on three consecutive albums.  It makes sense to do it marketing wise, but you just have to make the fans wait more before the next albums.

I had no idea this was happening? I assume that they have been saving some songs Because I think its highly unlikely to produce enough high quality songs to fill 3 albums in such a short time... Regardless I'm looking forward to their release.

I absolutely love dookie era Green Day so I hope atleast one of the albums will get in touch with their former sound. To be honest I expect the majority of the songs to be garbage / filler. Its been a few years since they released an album if I remember correctly but  I doubt they can make 30+ quality songs over that period of time. It will be interesting to see how they turn out.

Its been forever since they have released a good album. I hope this is one. 21st century breakdown wasn't their best album. I agree with many of you. Dookie era was great. I can listen to every one of those songs.

I listened to each album as soon as they came out.

I also watched the video "Cuatro!", and it tells about the making of the trilogy.

Billie Joe said that the lyrics just came to him like they were puppies for adoption.

Since the whole trilogy and the documentary came out, you can listen to the songs and see if you like them.

Wonder if its just going to be 3 albums worth of 3 minute "mah mah, I am stoned and lazy and sometimes I think thats kinda lame and crazy..."- kind of songs or some new directions. And will everybody be out of rehab in time?
