Trying out a new layout... not sure how I did on it. Most of the work is in the BG image, not a whole lot of thought put into the CSS design >.>

Honestly, I just reused my old text div and recolored it to a greyish color to better fit the feel of the new BG.

It actually feels weird to me to not be using something blue... but I wanna experiment with new things to see if I can make them look cool. I probably won't use this one myself for too long, but if someone likes it, I'll give it away or something.

The image has far too many different areas of light and dark to get a good font color that's readable all the way through. A "good colour" is a colour with a lot of contrast to the background.
In your layout, I'd say there isn't really any good colours to use, because your background image is ridiculously intrusive, I'd definitely recommend either darkening or brightening the image a lot (or use a transparent post box, serving the same purpose) and then using colours very near to black or white.
Text-shadows can also help with this a lot, you should try that too if you can figure it out.
