In my opinion almost all of the Megaman games are fairly easy, but I find the original Mega Man to be the easiest by far for a few reasons.

1) Only 6 bosses to defeat
2) Gameplay is extremely easy
3) Game is pretty short
4) Bosses A.I. are fairly easy to manipulate
ex. Fireman can be beaten buster only by staying on the right side of the room and following a shoot and jump pattern. here is a link to this A.I. manipulating pattern: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5d79s_F57c&feature=relmfu. I've done this myself so it is possible.

This may be the easiest in my opinion, but a lot of the games in the Mega Man franchise is fairly easy. I also find Mega Man X and Megaman Battle Network easy also.

I personally find MegaMan 10 to be one of the easiest, mainly cause of the new option of Easy mode

Okay, as Far... Megaman 2, it's pretty easy. I beat it a few times.

Megaman 5 is quite easy too, Stage's trap are predicable after some tries, Robotmaster's patterns are easy to learn and There's a lot of 1-UPs around.

Of course Mega Man 2 is easy. Try some of the hacks though. They can be pretty hard too. Especially rockman No Constancy (hard) or Rockman Deus Ex Machina (hard). Btw I did not beat these versions of the original game yet but I have reached the Wily stages for both games. Rockman is the japanese name for Megaman.

I'd say Mega Man x4 was the easiest one. I personally could beat the game in about 35 minutes with x and 45 minutes with zero. Easy boss patterns, and the secrets weren't really all that secret.
