I love Harvest Moon! I was introduced to this series when I accidentally mistook A Wonderful Life for Animal Crossing, a game I was wanting to try out at the time. I first saw AWL through kWing001 (I think that's his name) on Youtube. I then saw it at Gamestop and I picked it up. Thank goodness I did! Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life is one of my favorite games of all time! But yeah, my favorite game in the series, as of now is AWL. My favorite parts of the game is looking for your bachlorette, the pretty heart warming proposal and heart scenes, and raising your kid! But yeah my favorite game in the underrated series! What's yours?

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town was my favourite Harvest Moon game. It had pretty much everything you could ask for in the game. Plus it had that awesome letterbox you could buy that had like a giant mouth XD

My favorite is AWL too. I really liked the archaeology dig sites and I loved cooking anything I found. I also was fond of the family you got at your third year, I felt as though I was a father too, ha ha. There was so much going on in that game. I've been a fan of harvest moon since I got it for the gameboy color when I was like five. Its boring at first, but then you find it soothing and something you sit back and relax to.

I haven't had the opportunity to try AWL yet and the Harvest Moon 64 on here is severely laggy... so I've been playing Friends of Mineral Town, which is pretty awesome. I have intent to try More Friends of Mineral Town too.

I jumped on the HM train early. I started, with the first one, and have been hooked since. I still remember the excitement and anticipation for Harvest Moon 64 and Harvest Moon Back To Nature. Unfortunately I have had to miss most of the titles since then, but my favorite that I have played would probably be Friends of Mineral Town, or Back To Nature. FoMT has more to offer, but BtN has the fish pond which I missed in later games I played, and FoMT gives the player far too many opportunities to bust the game wide open. And alas, I am a player that too often takes every chance I get to get ahead in a game (so long as I'm not using a cheat, or cheating another player), and as a result I got so filthy rich in my first five seasons on FoMT that I became extremely bored. I also don't like the mythical and cursed tools idea because they take far too long to obtain, and it is an extremely boring process. That said, it is a great game as well, so long as you don't try to make a perfect profile...hmm...Making a game so in depth that a player will most likely never max out a pro...maybe that isn't such a con?

Long story short, it's an extremely close call between FoMT and BtN, but FoMT wins by Photo Finish.

I started playing Harvest Moon back with Friends of Mineral Town. After borrowing it from a friend, I was hooked and he ended up giving it to me. I eventually discovered that there were other Harvest Moon games, so I played Harvest Moon (for SNES) and Harvest Moon 64. I still haven't played Back to Nature (which plagues me to this day; I keep an eye for it online when I shop) and I've played all the other Harvest Moon games that came out afterwards.

Up to date, there are two games that are constantly fighting for the spot of my favorite: More Friends of Mineral Town and A New Beginning (for 3DS). When people ask me which Harvest Moon games to play, I always recommend those two games. But I love all of them.

As for favorite parts, I always enjoy the family events: when you have a child and they're no longer an infant and you, your spouse, and your child bond by doing activities. It always warms my heart and makes me think that someday, I may have a real family like that.

My two best friends (excluding my boyfriend, of course) play Harvest Moon, also, and my boyfriend started playing A New Beginning because you can customize the look of your character, so I usually talk a lot about this series. It's one of my favorites, and hopefully, there will be more to discuss in this forum before long. ^^
