Super Mario Land is one of the earlier Game boy titles and has sold 18.6 million copies making the 4th best selling Game boy game. It is the second most popular Game boy on Vizzed. This game is quite fun and I'm not surprised that it is popular on Vizzed. 

The graphics for this game are super good for an early Gameboy game. The scenery, background's , characters, etc look great and simple, so it's easy on the eyes.

The sound is incredible as well. The music, sounds great and it get stuck in my head easily and these songs are not annoying. When the vehicle levels come along, the music is upbeat like the levels themselves. In the regular levels, depending on the theme the music matches with it really well. The sound effects are pretty good, most of them sounding very similar to Mario's NES adventures.

This game is very addicting. A few reasons it's addicting is because 
1:  The games simplicity. 
3: It's just super fun.

The story is not very complicated. Some alien invades Sarasaland and kidnaps princess Daisy so he can marry her. Mario arrives (as usual) to save the princess. That's about it

Super Mario Land really doesn't have that much to offer. 12 levels "4 worlds with 3 levels in each". 3 power ups " mushroom, fire power, and an invincibility star".

I didn't have much trouble beating the game. Although the difficulty kicks up when you get to the 4th world. Where there's ninjas that you can't kill.
