Title says it all. My school has a summer reading book. It's called When the Emperor was Divine or something like that. Either way, I just heard from one of my friends at a different school that the book is terrible. So I'm looking forward to THAT. :/

When i was in middle school they made us read the Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien which wasn't that big of a deal because i fairly enjoyed the book. I r am an avid reader so summer reading was never a big deal for me.

No, my school doesn't have a summer book thing. But I did sign up for a summer reading program at my library to read for 15 hours this summer. And I finished it last month I love reading anyways, so I wouldn't really mind a summer reding book. (As long as its interesting)
