I have had quite a few jobs at Vizzed over the months/could it now be years?

Anyway, there are lots of eligible people who could apply for Vizzed posts when they are advertised, but they don't apply.

What are the reasons you don't or have not applied.

I have a high use, but worry that being staff again might take the enjoyment away of being a user to having responsibilities and it becoming another job, I already work enough hours at that(I wish I don't lose work to support myself).

What say you?

When I was still a wee new member, I didn't apply for a moderator position because I knew I was less qualified and feared rejection. When I finally did apply for local, I was denied, which made me feel bad. I almost didn't go for it a second time, but I secured the position, thankfully.

I have no reason to apply now.

I have been able to apply for the site staff application for game reviews but davideo7 closed it down before I could even get hired which meant that I have to wait for another staff application to open up so I can get my staff position that I always wanted!

It has been a dream / goal of mine to be a local mod. I applied lat time Local Mod apps were open, but did not get it. When I got RGR Staff, I was like, SCORE!!! I am part-way there. Then I stepped down because of some stuff going on vizzed and in real life. Now, with local mod being opened up, I am hopeful and confident that I will get Local Mod this time. I have changed lately, and am no longer that jerk that I used to be when I was still a nub.

Well, the last time I tried applying for a Local Mod position, I was rejected, mainly because my application sucked. Currently, I'm not sure if I should apply for the Local Mod position, because of two things. 1)I'm not a very fast poster, and I have trouble finding threads to post in. Getting 100 posts a month would be next to impossible for me. 2)I was almost overwhelmed by the RGR Staff Reviewer position, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle the Local Mod position as easily.

It's quite simple, actually.

I'm not going to work for the RGR, because why work for something I almost never use?

As for local moderator, I'm not going to waste my time closing this and moving that and kicking him and muting her. I have better things to do.

Maybe next time though, I might go for mod.

I don't go for RGR staff all that much because it's been a while since I've used it (I'm starting to use it more recently now). As for mod, well I have a long way to go and more stuff that I need to learn before I want to have a shot at being a local.

I haven't been a member for a year (11 months, close but not quite), I wouldn't be able to be online for 20 hours a month, and I would be to lazy to be able to do anything. I probably wouldn't do very goes either. I also don't have very much confidence, that might get in the way.

I did apply for the RGR staff position one time. I managed to get the job of being a reviewer. But I stepped down for one reason. It was my age. David made me a Vizzed Elite. The Intelligence to be able to be a Moderator, quite frankly. I have to assume one has to be real smart at the codes, the viewing over others, frequently checking up on it in advanced techniques, and...well, that's all I think there is to know about it, which seems simple enough.

What ELSE stops me from applying? Not completely knowing what a Moderator does.

So, after my recent step down, I have decided that I will no longer work as RGR Staff. The reason behind this is because:
1) The jobs just aren't appealing at all to me anymore. It's all just 100% work and boredom.
2) My laptop can't handle the jobs that I want to do (Video Recorder, Reviews [I don't have Word], etc).
3) I just don't like being RGR Staff at all.
