Yeah. I waited until the day my geometry project was due to even start it. I actually thought it was due the next day, but it wasn't. Anyways I worked on it all that day and I still made a 97 on it.

Don't ask me how I managed to pull it off, but I did.

Doing this for several assignments taught me a few valuable lessons, some good some bad

One, don't procrastinate on extremely large assignments, because whatever you do after a sleepless night most likely ISN'T going to be your best.

However, it did teach me that teachers like things to be done simply, but extremely well. In that manner I managed to do two essays, a project, read a book, and study for two tests within ten hours, when other students had been preparing for these for weeks.

It's 50% time management and 50% thinking critically about what needs to be done and what will be a waste of time.

I've done that before one time. I had to work on it at Kidstime(a program that takes care of people that don't take the bus or walk home or if their parents aren't home). I managed to get it done. I got lucky there.

No, I'm never that comfortable cutting it that close for a project. The latest I've started something like that is the day before, but then again, most of us do that.

But I don't understand how some people can do it a period before the class and still manage to milk a good grade out of it. I would personally panic and be worried about time before getting anything productive done. I'll never be one of those people. But I'm fine with the way I do it.

I think the latest I have finished a project is the day before, mainly because my mom won't allow me to go to bed unless my homework due tomorrow is done.  If I had my choice, I would have just done it in the morning, and sleep a better night to be ready for school the next day.
