If I had to pick a favorite female pop artist then she would be my pick. Aaliya died in a plane crash after she hit it big. Not only was she a great singer and dancer, she also was in a pretty good vampire movie called queen of the dammed. This thread is a tribute to her so check it out and if you like her music please make a reply or add something, thanks.

I'm also a fan of Aaliyah and was upset when I heard the tragic news of her passing away! I remember hearing it on the radio and immediately started shedding uncontrollable tears. It's sad because she didn't die from natural causes, suicide, or a drug overdose (like most musicians) she passed away in a plane crash in which she had no control. I know now she's resting in peace and knows she was appreciated for her beautiful soul and talent.

As for her music, I practically like ALL of her songs! From her early teen years, to her recent music before her passing away!

Since this is a tribute it's only appropriate I share this video!
