There are many Pokémon in this game from generation 1 to generation 3.
But not all can be recruited.
Some can be recruited easily. Some are harder.
Some Stage 1 evolution Pokémon can be recruited.
Your level also depends on the percent of recruitment.
Friend Bow helps.
Legendaries can be recruited most after the game credits.
Hope this helps.
