About Pokemon Tower Defense:

The final version was released a few days ago.
The release date, I don't even know it, maybe a couple of years ago?
8 chapters of pokemon fighting fun.
There are training areas where you can EXP grind your pokemon.
You build a army (Tower) of pokemon by catching them with pokéballs.
There is a sequel called Pokemon Tower Defense 2 that started developing, since the first game was finally done.

It isn't playable right now "due to the Sam and Dan server being down", which means that if you signed up to play the game, the server will be unable to retrieve your profile.

There is a lot of info, but I think that should cover it.
What do you think of the game?

I had a lot of fun with it when it was first starting to be developed a little over a year ago. There were only a couple levels, and no gym leaders yet, so it wasn't nearly finished. But it was still a pretty cool idea, and I liked watching them add stuff. The development was too slow to keep my attention for very long, though, and I quickly stopped playing it. It'd be cool to see the final version, but I don't honestly know if I'm gonna bother. Did they get trading or any kind of multiplayer mode up like they wanted?

soxfan849 : yeah they got trading working. Really, it all works really well now, with daily drawings and weekly events. It's pretty smooth.

I gotta say, I really love this game. I'm stuck on misty's gym though.

starwars293 : It is a little like bloons tower defense, in pokemon tower defense, you build a pokemon army by catching pokemon as you go, you can earn poké dollars and you use it to buy stones for pokemon who can only evolve from a certain stone. You build up a pokemon army of 6 and you train the pokemon and level them up with poke dollars to be able to beat the later levels of the game. Especially the gym levels which are impossible if you don't have the correct pokemon for the gym you need to beat. Let's say that I was in cerulean gym 1, and I have a fire pokemon and the rest of the pokemon are fly types, the gym is filled with water type pokemon, so I am absolutely screwed destroyed to death because by the time I get to the last wave of the cerulean gym 1, the water pokemon take all the candy away and I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

PTD is probably one of the most fun Tower Defense games that I have ever played. It's not like the rest, where you just get enough money to spam towers to defend the end path... and this one actually has a storyline, which is awesome!
