Be sure to prepare for the HOT HOT HOT Days comming your way.Like pack liters and gallons of water ETC.Here is a picture to prove it.This will move through your area sometime soon. Some towns might push 500 degrees or even 600 degress if your in a desert area.

EDIT - Linked, because it stretched oh so much.

This is interesting Pro_Master. I have seen weather as hot as 123 degrees including the heat index. I'm sure it gets hotter then that in some areas. But 144 and climbing, this has to be a funny...

That's not possible, don't be concerned. I don't know where you found it, but it's either a prank someone made, or they messed up the temperatures somehow. I don't know whether you mean Fahrenheit or Celsius, but 100 degrees Celsius is the boiling point of water, and the boiling point for Fahrenheit is 212, so either way you're screwed and no amount of water will save you from your insides literally boiling, even if you're inside or whatever.

So unless the Earth is steadily racing towards the sun and no one told me, I would worry, because it's not happening.

Yeah, that high of a temperature is not possible whether you go by Fahrenheit, Celsius, Kelvin, or whatever. You MIGHT be able to survive for a matter of minutes in that extreme temperature. The deserts don't even get this hot. If it did, there would be no life there because all known life on Earth is composed of a lot of water, and everything would just broil.

rcarter2 : although maybe we are composed of water due to abundance? On other planets maybe animals have massively different builds. Water is meant to be a building block of life but we only have 1 sample planet.
Animals underground or underwater could survive, unless it stayed that hot for a very long time.

Pro_Master : In response to your comment to KG. Though the distance between the sun and the Earth is indeed steadily decreasing, it will take a LONG time for mere weather temperature to get that high anywhere. You are jumping ahead by a few million years here. Right now, the hottest the dessert areas ever get is 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit, and that is considered it's extreme temperature. The Earth's climate isn't going to just spike up 380-480 degrees just like that. Also, I checked the validity of this, and there are no predictions of any locations getting that hot (unless you are mole people who are digging a little too close to the earth's core). I don't know where you go this, but I think you should post the actual link to this website where you got the picture from. Even if it does stretch for a long time, post it. Everyone who looks at the site will then see how invalid this information is.

Pro_Master : Why must you fib to have many users worry about danger? First of all, there aren't any weather forecasts that have many weather panels, second of all, weather similar to that up above doesn't even exist, unless, the Earth dashes to the sun and has sex with it or something similar to that.

All Users: Please don't worry about this nonsense.

ProGamer135 : You don't have to have that attitude and tell everyone not to worry, or accuse her of fibbing. I think it's fairly obvious that she stumbled upon it somewhere and for whatever reason, it was inaccurate despite her not knowing. If someone wants to worry about it, they sure can, even though it's scientifically and logically unsound.

Pro_Master : I understand you think it's real, but I'd have to agree with rcarter that you should either recheck or post the link to the webpage in it's entirety. Or at the very least, tell us what state do you live in, and we can check it ourselves. I'm sure it was just some kind of error, unless you're trolling. Either way it doesn't really matter, and although you seem to not be taking our word for it that it's impossible, I would really recommend not stressing. If you need to gather liters of water and hole up indoors for some peace of mind, that's cool. But I assure you if that information is real, there really is no escape from death. Assuming you're as human as the rest of us and your body is comprised mostly of water, you're going to boil to death like of the world. Sorry, pal. =(

Ok I can be sure that this summer will be hot but not so much as 144 degrees, at least in my area anyways. I been through some weather that reached up to 110 degrees which was blazing by the way but I can be absolutely sure that it won't be that hot this year.
