Well I grew up on Red so I personally like that one the best. I also have yellow version and diamond currently. Those are really the only ones I've played too much and I've sort of done that selectively. Actually Tastetosis (Tasteless and Artosis who are casters at GSL, MLG, and other competitive events for Starcraft (2)) have been discussing this lately and it seems that Artosis seems to agree with my sentiment xD 1st gen is classic and for some reason diamond, pearl, platinum gen seems to have stuck with people as well.
