Hornets are bad, i encountered a lot of them in romania, but depending on where youre stung wasps can be pretty bad.
One landed on me and i stupidly brushed it off, i was moving something heavy at the time and went back to that so i was pretty open, it ended up stinging me on the adams apple, i lost my voice for a week, it was painfull as hell too.

Over the years I've been stung by just about everything except pine beetles (and thankfully too, because I hear they're the most painful). The first time I got stung by a bee I was 6 years old and playing outside at my grandparents house. I remember lifting up the lid of this old storage shed and saw a ton of bees congregating in there. Soon enough though, my fascination turned to horror as the bee started chasing me around the yard before finally getting stung behind the ear. Interesting thing though is that as soon as a bee stings you it will die as well. Reminds me of the kamikaze, lol.

oddly enough, I have NEVER been stung by a bug.  All of my siblings have been stung by a bee, and yet I never have.  I've been bitten by ants, but I don't think that really counts, does it?

Nope i've never got stung by a bug but i did witness somebody getting stunged by a bee. It was my brother during hurricane Katrina he got stung by a bee because he was trying to play with it to much.

I get mosquito bites, fly bites, chigger bites, and spider bites often.  I actually have chiggers right now.  I hate bug bites!!  They itch >.< and they're super annoying.  I can't really say I've been stung though.  I have never been stung by a bee or a wasp, and I want to keep it that way!  I can't wait for winter, so all the bugs can DIE.  I don't really like bugs.

Me and wasps don't really like each other (Aside from the fact that I have "bug-phobia."), here's why...

So me and my friend Javon (Here's some trivia.. He gave me my first bass guitar!) are at a lake for his family reUNION which he invited me to since all of his other relatives are either too old or too young, so I came. So now we are swimming in the lake, and then out of nowhere someone starts yelling so me and Javon go and check it out... And someone yells," WASP! WASSSSSSP! WAAAASSSP!" And my initial reaction is," I like not being stung, how 'bout you Javon?" And of course he shook his head no, but now it gets crazy, the small apartment-like room I had recently had a bug-infestation and a exterminator was called in to do what he does best- but that was 'bout a year before I came.. Apparently (And unfortunetly), there was a couple of buzzing sounds, so me and Javon check it out, then at first we mistake it for a fly, but boy were we wrong.. Soon we heard a loud buzzing noise, and we go and check it out (Deja vuu???), anyways the "so-called-fly" wasn't a fly AT ALL! It was a wasp and stung my leg as I tried to run away (Which Javon being a tid bit more active he runs like the wind.. Of course I wasn't fast enough)- thankfuly, the wasp got what he deserved and died soon after stinging me.. So the lesson here children is; (1) Run fast, make your motivation," RUN FORREST RUN! (Anyone picking up on my reference?)" (2) Wear anti-wasp-bug-whatever they make nowaday.. (3) And consider being in a group of people so there are multiple people for the "thing" to get/sting!

I believe the only thing I've ever been stung by, insect-wise anyhow, are bees and wasps. They are sort of everywhere and have a nasty habit of getting in the way when you least expect it. Not insect-wise, there was this little fish but I don't know what it is called. D:
