This is a special thread involving a Super Moon. A Super Moon is our moon appearing thirty percent larger and fifteen percent brighter. In New Jersey, it will occur at eleven thirty four PM. Be sure to travel outdoors extra early, so you won't miss the occurrence. A Super Moon occurs when the sun, the Earth, and our moon are aligned. Isn't that astounding? The adjacent Super Moon won't be occurring until two thousand sixteen.
Create sureness to not miss it. Good luck!

It looked amazing! I tried to get a picture of it, but no dice... plus there were clouds for most of it. There was also a meteor shower, but again, clouds. Oh well.

Elara : I've never taken a gander at a meteor shower in my lifetime. You are correct, though, I hadn't seen the Super Moon ever because it was too overcast.

At 8:45 pm in New York I was able to see it before the clouds came at 9 pm. It was HUGE and orange! It was the biggest I had ever seen the moon! At midnight though it returned to normal size and just was extreamly bright!

Last night the moon wasn't big here, it looked like yee ole' full moon...Plus yes there was some overcast I agree, but it wasn't that bad here.

Btw it should be out at 11:30 all week for everyone everywhere. Good luck catching it at the right time. I expected like a huge moon.
