This was such a fun competition with so much participation but due to it being discovered that it was vulnerable to cheating, we had to close the competition.

Just thought I should point out that the competition was closed before anyone could have used the cheat method, so all scores submitted were 100% legit. Just thought that should be stated so nobody feels cheated

madison : With all the practicing I did when high score mode was down (using save states to practice the same level over and over again), I can do it. As soon as the 1.7 plugin is released, I plan on doing it and posting that score, which will be between 400,000-500,000

Yeah rcarter2 mentioned finishing it without save states in his review of the game. I can't wait to post my score as well. I can get to level 7 without save states but have not attempted to master it yet.

jerryaberry : Oh boy, I just realized that I need to practice again. I haven't played it since I beat it the first time without save states. Hope I can do it again . Level 7 is so freaking unfair though. And the boss at the end requires one of the fastest reflexes I have seen games require. It seriously rivals the first Ninja Gaiden for Xbox.

Yeah Ninja Gaiden is pretty crazy. And I was hoping level 7 would be easy. I should know better as "Aldynes" and "easy" should never be mentioned together.
