Chapter 1. The players. They were in place. Everyone. Young, old, man, and woman. Everyone was assembled for what could end up being the most epic round of mafia to have ever been played.

But was it that simple. As everyone knows, Leggy is madman. He is insane. Last round he made almost everybody a loose cannon. This round... he had to have something up his sleeve. It's round 8 after all. Mafia: All-Stars

Players from the past, and players from the future(?) assembled in the dining hall... the dining hall of Davideo7's Vizzed Mansion. But the round wouldn't be played here. This was just a nice get together in a usual place. Davideo7 was at the table as well. He wasn't playing of course, but he did talk to Leggy at some point. It worried the players. Were they conspiring with each other?

Everybody already knew their roles prior to coming to the table. But unlike previous rounds... there was something unusual about the letters. Something... that didn't feel right. But what was it? Was there anything? Maybe Leggy was just setting up a load of nothing and it would be a basic mafia with no unusual rules, no million loose cannons... maybe... just maybe the game was on level ground... at last.

Or was there something he was hiding? Leggy was not happy. He had a noticeable angry aura about him. No one understood why. No one really cared. But it was still troubling. Something was amiss, it HAD to be.

The players ate their dinner. Compliments of Davideo7. And then there was silence.

"Dinner is over." Leggy spoke at once, and snapped his fingers. Butlers from all directions came and took what food remained from the table.

And then all of a sudden, the chairs. They buzzed. Every player was restrained to their chair.

"Now that no one can "escape", I think it's time to get you filled in about this most special of occasions." He pointed to the chairs beside him. "As you can see, escape is actually impossible." An intern attempted escape, and the chair buzzed, shocking him until he would not move.

"As you are aware, Mafia Round 7 ended under... odd circumstances. I think it's relevant to note there IS a potato rule in effect. You might not know what it is, but that's not to dissuade you from searching."

He chose to walk by each player.

"I see some new faces... what a shame, they'll probably die first."

He then returned to his seat.

"Where will we be playing, you may ask? Well... that's the beauty of it. For the first time ever, there are no rooms. We will be playing on a desert island. There is nothing around for miles. There is enough to survive. Food. Water. The usuals. But there is no escape. I have trained Leggy Army Soldiers. They are being instructed to shoot on sight. If you leave, you will die. And if you are lynched, you will be put out to sea. And then subsequently executed. By the soldiers. They need to kill somebody after all."

The contestants looked just a little uneasy... how could you blame them?

Their entire world was going away. They were going to Leggy Island.

The chairs were loaded onto boats at the Vizzed Docks. With the players still in them. The boats set sail for a 10 hour journey... and everyone was unable to escape.

The boats landed, and trained professionals opened the locks on the chairs. The players were free to move... and what do you know... it was night time. Time for the first to die... or not?

Who knows... there may not even be a mafia this round... Enjoy!

No rooms? Does that mean no Insomniac? I mean, I noticed it hasn't been here the past 2 rounds, at least. Are you phasing it out like the Trapper?

This Mafia should be fun with the amount of players we have, The only downside is waiting 3 days every night/day round for people to actually vote

Lot of new players this round, which means it'll be longer. That's good. last one was super quick

Honestly, I don't care much to the intricate stories. I know he puts of lot of work into it, so I read it and find it entertaining, but I know it never really affects gameplay.

silverthundr : lol. I was going to do a post just like yours, but I got lazy with waiting so I logged out. Also, I hope he doesn't phase out the Insomniac, I like that role. I want to be an Insomniac...

sonicmcmuffin : I find your leggyist soldiers depiction hilarious, but how do they hold the machine guns? I mean, the cigs are in their mouths, so it's not in their mouths...

SDY : What is wrong with you opting to be killed are you mad or just plain stupid this is mafia all-stars for gods sake you can't opt to be killed or can you maybe that is the potatoe rule?  Also what do you guys think the potatoe rule? Also the bystander message leggy sent out was quite odd. Probably just a way to freak us out or maybe just something to do with the potatoe rule. But what ever pms please come fast. 

SDY : What makes you think you'd be a N1 target? I don't think your play history backs that up, so I'm going to guess you're trying to make yourself look like a power role there.

There's otherwise a large queue of people more likely to be in the "N1 Target" line.

Leggy Island, it looks dreadful, but at least the wildlife looks neat.

Another round, another creepy atmosphere. You'll never know who is insane...okay there are a few obvious ones, but we gotta find the mafia. Who knows what "special rule" Leggy has in store for us on this Tropical Atmosphere of Leggy Island.

Of course, it's also possible the insane ones -are- the mafia.

Since this was posted on May 1st... the night round ends at the end of May 3rd.

*reads map* Leggy Island, a deadly island with rare wildlife. It is located in Southern Leggy Land. Few can survive the madness that thrives here. *reading ends* Well... if even the map-maker says it's bad... HIDE IN THAT BUSH.

KiddoCabbuses : SDY is totally doing what I did last round. And I'm going to ignore it. Because we both know that I wasn't targeted at all last round. And we all know how last round went, right? I'm really gonna hope that the Potato Rule is not a short game mechanic, because that'd be total BS in a 25 player game.
