I'm Mike, just joined, looks like a fun site.  Used to play all the NES/SNES RPGs in the late 80s/90s.  Can't wait to try them again.

Hi!  I have a question - maybe you can help.  I was playing FF 1.  Tried saving the game but failed - the code assigned must have been hundreds of characters long and couldn't be copied.  OK, started again.  Chose my own save code right at the beginning.  Played through slaying Garland, rested at the inn, and then closed out.  When I returned to the game my code didn't work.  I chose continue but was taken right to the beginning of the game at the character select screen.  How do you save?

You could pm a rgr staff member( in the members list) . I am not having that problem but you could also look in the help and question forum on the board. You can also make a thread in the same forum asking your question. Sorry I am not staff but I hope this helps you.
 If you type a users   name:   with a colan, it will summone them in your threads and you will get a faster answer!
