For the java emulators, users have to make at least 1 post to disable the ads. 2 reasons for this:
1. It'll encourage users to introduce themselves in the newbie forum which could increase the amount of new active users on the site
2. It'll increase ad revenue a tad to help fund the RGR Plugin and the new expensive servers

David, please refresh my memory. Do users who don't post have to see adds on the Plugin as well? If not, should't they? Also, I'm a little unclear about the whole post/adds thing.When you say they have to make 1 post to disable them, do you mean that after they make one post, the adds are disabled for good, or will this be a daily thing. If it will bring more money to the site, I would suggest it being a daily thing. That way it might encourage people to post at least once a day. If they don't care about the adds and they don't post, that would just mean more revenue to the site.
