If anyone is willing to upload their save state file (the file will have the extension .sgm) to a file hosting site like mediafire.com, or similar site, which is right before the part that the game freezes, then I could download it and test it on other roms to find one that won't freeze.

Alternatively, you could email me the file at viz789@hotmail.com.

Also please let me know if you've sent the email because I don't check my emails often.

That's cool, I forgot that I made this thread because I already got a save state from somebody in a different thread and found the problem. The problem isn't in the rom because it doesn't freeze in that spot from the save state on my local emulator, so it's a problem with the Plugin which will hopefully be figured out with an update.

Anyways, you can recover your save files from the save file manager. Check this thread for the details:

classicgames : Unfortunately it's not fixed. Can it be fixed? Yes, probably. However, I haven't talked to the Plugin developer about it yet because I'm considering that he's busy with resolving a more important issue with the Plugin before the next update is released.

classicgames : I'm not sure actually, but I what I can do is send you a download link to that save state I was talking about and you can place it in your Plugin Data folder which will allow you to play past the part that freezes while using the current Plugin.

I'll post the link here shortly. It will take about 10-20 minutes for me to test it and have it ready.

That's a save state that will load on the other side of the door that freezes in one of the dungeons - Temple of Droplets I think. What you'll do after downloading it is right click the file and select Copy.

You'll paste it in your Plugin Data folder. That's accessed by going to Start Menu > All Programs > Vizzed Retro Game Room > User-"your id number here" > VBA > Saves. In the Saves folder is where you'll paste the file; if it asks you to "confirm replacing file" choose yes.

Then load up the game and the save state with F4, but don't go back through that door or it will freeze still.
