You grab his tail just like all the others. I think you actually have to try to throw him off the plat form ,in stead of just repeatedly throwing him however many time. I have not play this game in years, but am currently playing the DS version so I hoped this helped.

I suggest you get far away from Bowser, make him chase after you, then jump over him. Get behind him, and throw him at one of the remaning purple bombs. You have to hit him with 3 different bombs to kill him.

Yeah total seems to get a good suggestion, you need to lure bowser to a good angle as close as you can get to a bomb, for a better chance to grab it. Best suggestion, have Bowser charge at you, dodge, and grab the tail, and throw him.
